Our Pastor
Pastor Rob and his wife, Rebecca, have been following the Lord together since marrying in 1997. Their shared faith deepened while attending several Calvary Chapel churches in South Florida. During his time as an elder at Calvary Chapel Wellington from 2004 to 2008, God began to reveal His plan for Rob to leave his law enforcement career and minister to the body of Christ as a Senior Pastor.
In 2008, Rob and Rebecca, along with their three sons, moved from Wellington, FL to Cumberland, MD to start a new Calvary Chapel. Over the eleven years they ministered in this Appalachian community, they witnessed God transform a small group of believers into a thriving fellowship. Under Pastor Rob’s leadership, Calvary Chapel Cumberland launched a Christian radio station and a residential addiction discipleship program, both of which had a profound impact on the local community.

Unexpectedly, in 2019, God called the Mahovich family to take another step of faith and move to Ormond Beach, FL. Now a family of six, with three sons and a daughter, they eagerly embraced this new mission. In 2022, Pastor Rob began teaching the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse, in their home. This laid the groundwork for the launch of Cornerstone Christian Fellowship of Ormond Beach a year later, in 2023.
